Think the media are biased against you? Consider this fascinating piece, which a sharp grad student of mine shared with our class. I'm struck by this personally because my book, Transcendental Meditation in America, has been attacked by TM devotees for bias against the movement and by TM critics for not lambasting it. My task, as laid out in the early going, was to report rather than judge, so I managed to offend both groups. Cleverly, this piece offers something of an explanation for that phenomenon.
